Reactive Dyes

Conventionally tray dryers were used for drying reactive dyes. Now with enhanced capacities tray dryers have become uneconomical and the Spray Drying operation is the most commonly used method of drying these types of dyes.

Dispersed Dyes
The spray drying operation is the most commonly used method of drying these types of dyes.

Direct Dyes
Normally are handled and dried in a batch type Rotary Vacuum Dryer, Agitated Flash Dryer. Spray Dryers are also used. Conventionally tray dryer was used for drying Acid Dyes. With enhance capacities the spray drying operation is the most commonly used method of drying
these types of dyes.Wide ranges of synthetic organic, inorganic dyes and pigments are commonly processed in Spray Dryers to directly convert them from the pre-formulated standardized solution and slurries into the finished product. Many times these chemicals are a mixture of several ingredients as a uniform liquid feed.

Organic Pigments: Conventionally tray dryer was used for drying pigments. With enhance capacities the spray drying operation is the most commonly used method of drying these types of pigments. Some of the pigments however may be difficult to dry in spray drying operation and may require Agitated Flash Dryer.

Inorganic Pigments: Conventionally tray dryer was used for drying pigments. With enhance capacities the Agitated Flash Drying operation is the most commonly used method of drying these types of pigments.
All non dry mix Detergents manufacturing process requires Spray Drying operation. Spray Drying plant is ideally suited to get various types of Optical Brighteners. Agitated Flash or batch tray dryers could also be used for small capacity plants. The high concentration Dispersing Agents are economically processed in Spray Dryers Sodium Laurel Sulfate, AOS and Surfactants are economically processed in Spray Dryers.
Leather Chemicals, Synthetic Tanning Agents and Basic Chromium Sulfate are economically processed in Spray Dryers.
