COMP dryers can be classified in two main categories - Convention Dryer or Conduction Dryer based on how the heat transfer is done to dry the product. Spray Dryer, Fluid Bed Dryers, Flash Dryer and Rotary Dryer fall in the first type while Conduction and Vacuum in the second type.
